True Beauty

My mom, who is a breast cancer survivor and the most beautiful woman I know, sent this video to me. I cried all the way through it.

Jill's prayer has been answered. My mom and I were both touched by her story. What a courageous and beautiful soul.

I hope her wish for Victoria's Secret to feature a survivor in the million-dollar bra comes true... but I hope VS takes it a step further by creating products that breast cancer survivors can use and feel beautiful in. Currently their products and marketing are the opposite of empowering for women (and men), whether or not they have been touched by breast cancer.

Those who know the scars, though, know true beauty.
