Over the weekend I played this fun game with friends. It was fitting considering my favorite little guy friends (1.5 years and 2 years old, respectively) both loooove "choo choos." I don't usually like playing games, mostly because I never remember card game rules and I'm not much of a risk taker. But this game has the elements I love: strategy and spatial-temporal reasoning, and it's visual. It's competitive, but with more than two players, everyone has to be more concerned about taking over their own territory than blocking others. I took it slow, racked up the longest routes (most points), and I came within 8 points of winning!
